Avacado

It's pear-shaped with tough, dark green skin, a large pit, and pale green flesh high in healthy monounsaturated fats, fiber, potassium, and vitamins E, K, and folate. Best eaten ripe (slightly soft), it's used in guacamole, toast, salads, smoothies, or as a butter​/​oil base in cooking​/​cosmetics. Slice lengthwise, remove pit, scoop flesh.
